For the last 10 days I’ve been sitting a Vipassana Meditation Course in a small town just west of Chicago. There’s no technology allowed (phones, computers, etc.), no reading or writing materials, no talking, no eye contact, and you are provided with two meals a day and a fairly firm bed to sleep on. The rest of the time (10-12 hours) you are meditating…
One of the best experiences of my life. (That’s all I’ll say about that here.)
And what better way to start off my 26th year of life than to be released into this crazy, beautiful world with a calm and clear mind, a strong and compassionate heart, and a drive to live my life one present moment at a time.
Oh, and a welcoming of cardboard cutout surprises from some of my favorite people in the world :)
